Have children make symbols of Christmas Book


Children will make a wreath, from a paper plate. Reinforce meaning of the wreath.

The wreath is a circle with out any end, just as Gods love for us.




Materials: Paper plates, scissors, yarn, green and red tissue paper

Cut out center of plate, children decorate outside of plate with green tissue paper. Red tissue paper to represent berries, add yarn bow. Yarn for hanging.

Dec. 4
Read, Merry Christmas Big Hungry Bear by Audrey Wood

Children will make pinecone christmas trees.


Materials: Pinecones, green paint, embellishments


Paint pinecones green, children embellish with pompoms, beads, rick rack, glitter, etc....

Reinforce symbol of tree. The tree points to heaven and reminds us God is eternal.
